About

The Environmental Science Academy is an open pathway at Monache High School. Environmental Science incorporates a wide variety of science and disciplines to help address issues from the local to the global environment

Projects

Students get an enormous opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of projects and activities. Students experience multiple field trips to a variety of locations while in the program, all of which are related to what students are learning in class as well as the projects. Students learn about and have many guest speakers from many dynamic careers in Environmental Sciences, such as foresters, Biologists, Wildland fire fighters, and Geologists, to name a few.
